The local hospital is in Coronation Road, Totnes (Tel. 862622) and
provides inpatient and outpatient care.
There is a minor illness unit and accident department, physiotherapy,
occupational therapy and an assessment and rehabilitation unit.
Many X-rays can be performed there but some may have to be done
at Newton Abbot or Torbay Hospital. Ultra sound scanning is also
available.
Doctors from the surgery have beds at the hospital, Dart Ward, and
are able to provide care for many medical and postoperative problems
closer to your home and family.
Many consultants provide outpatients clinics at the hospitals. |
