If you need a regular prescription your doctor may not need to see you every time. You will be given a computer repeat request form for this purpose. When you need more medicines please bring or send this form to reception and collect the prescription afternoon the following day (except at weekends). If you request your medication by phone please ring after 10.30a.m. and make sure you have all the details to hand.

You can arrange for one of the local pharmacies to pick up your prescription from the surgery. This enables you to collect your medicines without a visit to the surgery. Forms for this purpose are available at the Totnes pharmacies. Please allow 48 hours for collection and making up prescriptions.

The local pharmacies operate a Sunday and Bank Holiday opening rota in Totnes from noon-1.00 p.m. Sundays. You can find out which pharmacy is open from a notice in the shop window, from the local newspaper, or through Totnes Hospital.
